About

Passion. Experience. Diligence.

History

Boris Yankovich started his career as a litigator, tackling hundreds of cases on behalf of indigent tenants in housing court, gaining invaluable court and trial experience. After a brief stint with the New York City Commission of Human Rights, Boris served as general counsel in private practice. Under the guidance of Mr. Yankovich, the company cultivated a company-wide resurgence that effectively propelled it’s underwriting, collection, and legal efficiency. Understanding the constantly evolving landscape of commercial litigation and debt collection, including the importance of pre-litigation strategy, is one of the reasons Mr. Yankovich has been able to stay ahead of the competition. This made him eager to cultivate his own practice, one that would effectively intersect his expertise with clients’ respective interests. Yankovich Law believes that what wins a case and what makes a creative business thrive is the passion that drives it. Choosing to specialize in a field means that you are completely devoted to it; that you will protect it as if it were your own. That is the energy that sets it apart.

Yankovich Law opened its doors in 2020. To date, Boris Yankovich has facilitated the collection of millions in judgments and have successfully represented many businesses and individuals in commercial and civil disputes.

Boris Yankovich

Boris’s experience in litigation and counseling industry leaders in the merchant cash advance space, allowed him to open his own practice in early 2020. Boris‘ broad range of experience, coupled with his extensive litigation experience in an array of legal matters, make him the rare experienced and client oriented attorney in this field. It was often that Boris had to navigate legal fields prior to litigation in order sustain successful results for clients, conduct that saved his client hundred or thousands in legal fees. Practicing in commercial, transactional, and real estate areas, Boris has hands-on experience with how a substantive initial legal strategy affects the success of a case. As a young attorney, Boris is hyper aware of developing legal theories in all fields of law.
